Connect DayHeart to Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini
Updated November 4, 2026
What it is
DayHeart is a free day planner for work shifts with earnings, university classes and tasks. Its connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI assistants read your day and, if you allow it, add tasks, homework and classes. You ask in plain words, and the assistant answers from your DayHeart.
Connector address: https://dayheart.app/mcp. You sign in with your DayHeart account (OAuth), so you never paste a password or a key into the assistant.
Connect in Claude
- Open Claude (claude.ai or the app) → Settings → Connectors.
- Choose “Add custom connector”, name it DayHeart and paste
https://dayheart.app/mcp. - Tap “Connect”. The DayHeart page “Allow access” opens: sign in, choose what Claude can see and tap “Allow”.
- In a chat, check that DayHeart is turned on in the tools menu, then ask a question.
If DayHeart is listed in the Claude connectors directory, you can add it from there by name.
Connect in ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT → Settings → Apps & Connectors (or Plugins) and add a custom connector, an MCP server.
- Address:
https://dayheart.app/mcp, sign-in: OAuth. - Sign in to DayHeart on the page that opens, choose what ChatGPT can see and tap “Allow”.
Menu names in ChatGPT change from time to time, and on some plans custom connectors need developer mode.
Connect in Gemini and other assistants
Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in can connect: add a server with the address https://dayheart.app/mcp, sign in to DayHeart and tap “Allow”. In Gemini, look for connected apps; other assistants call it connectors, integrations or MCP servers.
What it can see and do
- Shifts: your work shifts with times and jobs.
- Classes: your timetable with rooms, teachers and homework.
- Tasks: tasks with a date and open tasks without a date.
- Earnings: what your shifts earned, in total and by job.
- Add tasks and homework: lets the assistant add a task, write homework into a class and add a class.
You choose these switches on the “Allow access” page. Turn off what you do not want to share; to change them later, disconnect and connect again. Sections you turned off in the app are never shared.
Tools
get_day— everything on one day: shifts, classes, tasks and what the shifts earned.get_shifts— work shifts in a date range, with what each shift earned if allowed.get_classes— classes in a date range: subject, time, room, teacher, homework.get_tasks— tasks in a date range and open tasks without a date.get_earnings— money earned by shifts in a date range, in total and by job; this month by default.add_task— adds a task, with a date and time if you give them.add_homework— writes homework into a class: it goes into the class, not into tasks.add_class— adds a class once, every week or every other week until a date.
The get tools only read. The add tools never delete or overwrite anything: homework is added on a new line, and a request repeated right away does not create a duplicate.
Try asking
- “What do I have tomorrow?”
- “Write the homework for Anatomy: chapter 8”
- “Add my Latin class every Tuesday 10:10–11:30 until December 20”
- “How much did I earn this month?”
- “Add a task to call mom tomorrow at 7 pm”
- “Which shifts do I have next week?”
- “What homework is due this week?”
Never shared
Mood (mood, sleep, diary, medication), health, people, notes, finances other than earnings and entries marked “Only me” never reach an assistant, whatever you allow. Neither do sections you turned off in the app.
Disconnect
- In the assistant: remove the DayHeart connector in its settings.
- In DayHeart: Settings → Account → “AI and apps” → “Disconnect”. Access stops at once.
Whatever an assistant received before stays with it under its own rules.
If it does not work
- You opened the address in a browser and see a short text: that is expected, the address is for assistants. Add it as a connector instead.
- The assistant asks you to sign in again: connect DayHeart again. This happens after a long break or if you disconnected it in DayHeart.
- The assistant says something is turned off in DayHeart: that switch is off. Disconnect, connect again and turn it on on the “Allow access” page.
- The assistant does not see a shift or a class: check that the section is turned on in the app and that the job is not hidden in “Calendars”.
- Anything else: write to support@dayheart.app.
